Caring for your Silver
Sterling silver will tarnish with time and wear. Silver care involves a few easy procedures and precautions.
For plain jewellery a regular buff up with a special silver polishing cloth will help maintain its condition.
Never use a jewellery dip to clean as this can pit the metal causing damage to your jewellery.
Jewellery with detail and design finishes are best cleaned with a small soft brush ( toothbrush) and warm sopay water.
Items should be stored seperately to avoid contact scratching, ideally wrap in soft acid free cloth/tissue.
Many beauty products can exagerate tarnising, hairsprays, perfumes, body lotions etc, clean your jewellery after wear.
Items set with facetted stones can often lose sparkle due to dirt accumulation behind the stone, use a soft brush and warm soapy water to clean.
Our products are guaranteed against manufacturing faults, but not misuse.
Many activities can damage/scratch jewellery, remove items when doing any activity which may cause a problem. Eg. lifting weights can scratch rings, chlorine in swimming pools can tarnish silver,, etc.
Take care of your investment to enjoy it for years to come.
